Welcome to the home page of Phoenix Badminton Club, one of Huddersfield’s longest established badminton clubs.

We currently have three teams competing in the Huddersfield badminton league and are one of the few local clubs that offers all year round competitive badminton. In fact we usually manage around 50 weeks of badminton each year.

Playing at the United Churches Healing Ministry in Milnsbridge on Tuesday nights between 7:00 and 9:30 we welcome visitors and new members of any level, so for more information please email the club secretary using our contact form here.

If you are new to badminton or new to the area and are looking for a friendly but competitive club why not come along a give us a try, our fees are reasonable and if you decide to join our club your visitor fee will be set against your year’s membership.

Latest Results Coming Up

The 2011 - 2012 season was a great success for Phoenix Badminton Club both competitively and financially. The composite A and B teams both earned promotion so will be playing in the 4th and 5th divisions next season so congratulations to all players who made this happen.

The club also had increased visitor numbers resulting in a great atmosphere for both members and visitors alike.

In an effort to convert visitors to members the club has taken the decision to reduce membership fees for the 2012 - 2013 season to a very competitive £80.00, but remember - this is for 12 months membership - not just the badminton season.

This represents excellent value for money at less than £2.00 per week!!

Match fees are also reduced to just £3.00 per match.

As you have probably heard Christian Brook is walking
12 miles in support of his works teams chosen charity - Marie Curie Cancer Care. Christian has done a lot to change the fortunes of Phoenix Badminton Club so this is our chance to repay his hard work by making a contribution to this worthwhile charity.
